This article explains how to add comments for housekeeping tasks in the roommaster mobile application for housekeepers.
Overview
The Add Comment feature allows you to include notes and communicate important information for specific tasks or rooms. Comments help maintain clear communication with managers and other staff members and provide valuable context for housekeeping operations.
Adding Comments to Tasks
Steps to Add a Comment
You can add a comment in two ways:
Option 1: Using the Add Comment link
- Navigate to the TODO tab
- Select the room or task where you want to add a comment
- Open the Room Details view
- Click on the "Add Comment" link in the comment section
- Type your comment in the text field and click on send

Option 2: Using the Comments tab
- Navigate to the TODO tab
- Select the room or task where you want to add a comment
- Open the Room Details view
- Navigate to the Comments tab
- Type your comment in the text field and click on send

Comment Features
Comment Visibility
Comments will be visible to the comment author, the manager, and any colleagues who will be later assigned to the task. Note that the comment will also be displayed in the task history.
Comment Timestamps
- Automatic Timestamps - Comments are automatically dated and timed
- User Attribution - Comments show who added them
